MLM Lead Conversion

A good MLM lead is not worth anything if you can’t get him or her to sign on the line with your organization. MLM opportunities are all over the place today and if you want to grow you business, like you should, then you can’t afford to miss out on any potential members. This is a strange business in that on the surface it is all about selling soap or vitamins but everyone knows the real money is made when you build your business. You will only find MLM success when you learn to do the things that give people the riches they desire. The most important one of these is that you find the best people in your area and then you get them signed and on the front line working for you.

There is always a discussion about what makes the best mlm lead when you are trying to find people to bring into your down line. I believe you need to find the people who are already successful at something but are ready to do something bigger that could lead into a bigger pay check. These are the people who are primed to take multilevel marketing over the top. Since they are successful you know they are good with time management, they are probably self starters, and then can work toward a goal.

This is exactly the kind of people you need in your business. MLM requires that a person be very good at time management. Are they going to make those 5 calls tonight or are they going to watch reality TV for a couple of hours? I heard a great quote the other day, “not many millionaires know who got voted off the island last night.” Meaning if you want to sit around and watch TV all night and watch other people live their lives you will never make you life into anything good.

This business also requires that your down line members be self starters. You don’t have the time to spend laying out the plan for each of you members to follow. You should be able to give them the outline and then they should take the ball and run with it. Persistence is golden. You just do not have the time or energy required to drag somebody along in this business. If the new member doesn’t want it enough to do the work on their own, then they will never make the sacrifices necessary to get rich.

Lastly, MLM people need to be able to work toward a goal. A good MLM business lead will be someone who knows what they want and is willing to do what it takes to get it. Remember the book The Secret that was out a few years ago. There was no secret involved. Sales coaches have know for years that visualization is important to goal setting. The person has to be able to live the dream in order to use that power to get what he or she wants.

If you are going after mlm leads you need to find all the high quality ones you can. Cheap mlm leads are a dime a dozen. By that I mean you can get a list of people almost anywhere but they will not join your organization. Or if they do, you will spend all your time baby sitting them instead of building your business.

If you are advertising on the internet then you have a great opportunity to screen leads before you waste any time on them. For example, if you have an optin mlm leads section on your web site then you know those people are at least willing to do a little bit of work to get more information. You have started them down the sales funnel. The list you get from your squeeze page is made up of targeted mlm leads because they all have raised their hand and said they would like to have more information.
