If you are serious about running and growing a network marketing business then you know how important MLM leads are. You will never get anywhere in this business unless you find good people to put under you in your organization. When you have a great MLM lead list you have something that is worth its weight in gold. Why? Because you now have a list of people who you can be pretty sure are willing to do the work required to make themselves big money and in the process make you big money.
When you are working on developing a list I do not recommend you buy mlm lead. These lists are usually pretty cold and if not these people have either already been pitched a hundred times or the list is so generic it has nothing to do with your MLM program. A lot of times a person will try to pass off any make money at home list as a network marketing list. Although network marketing is a part of the make money at home loop there is a lot that is different. Building up a business with multilevel marketing is different from using your computer to make money on ebay. You want a list of people who will be interested in what you have to say. I just wouldn’t recommend that you buy mlm leads unless you are absolutely sure you know what the list is comprised of.
As I said I wouldn’t trust an mlm lead company unless I knew exactly how the list was constructed. That is, where did the names come from, what is the demographics of the names, and how were the names collected. The best mlm leads are not ones that come from lead brokers in general. Instead, they are developed by you and your down line. You meet people everyday who could be a great asset to your business but you don’t even know it because you don’t try to pitch them.
If you are going to be successful in this business you have to make up your mind to push the business all the time. This reminds me of a story I read several years ago. Two men were both laid off from their jobs in a big city. Neither one had any good employment prospects so they both decided to go into life insurance sales. The first man Bob, didn’t really want to bother his friends or family about insurance. He didn’t even want to bother people he didn’t know. So he waited everyday for the phone to ring with someone wanting insurance. It never did. Very few people actually go out of their way to get insurance. This is because they feel like they are betting against themselves. Since Bob didn’t push the idea he didn’t sell any insurance and within one month he had taken a manual labor job very much below his training and experience. He was forced to take what the world would give him.
The second man, John, approached the new business is a completely different way. He made a commitment to himself to make sure that everyone within 3 feet of him knew he sold insurance and that they needed more than they had. John didn’t sit back and wait he went out and made things happen. He talked to everybody he could think of about insurance. Consequently, he got a lot of rejection but he also sold a heck of a lot of insurance. In fact, he sold over a million dollars worth. This was an amazing amount for a new salesman. John got what he wanted from the world.
The only difference between these two men was Bob didn’t promote himself, he just waited for people to come to him. John, on the other hand, did nothing but promote his business. If he pitched you insurance and you didn’t want any that was fine as that meant he was just that much closer to finding the person who was looking for insurance. It was all a numbers game like any sales proposition. The more people you pitch the better the chances you are going to find one who is looking for what you offer. If you are looking for leads for mlm then you need to let everyone you know or are acquainted with understand that you have a great way for them to make extra money. You can go after a cheap mlm leads list if you like or you can go after the top earners and really skyrocket your business.
Developing mlm network marketing leads is not rocket science. You just need to keep your eye out for prospects who look like they have a lot on the ball and then pitch them. You will be surprised how many of these mlm leads turn into business builders.
